At the airport, waiting for my spring break plane at the gate. As the arrival plane is deplaning, a couple gets off, pauses to grab their cell phones, the woman runs off screaming “MOM GUESS WHAT,” and leaves her man to follow. He’s smiling so I check her left hand, there’s a beautiful ring. The man starts talking into his phone, “Hi, Mom. Yeah, it took a while because she was reading, yeah on the plane!” He follows after his future wife.
What an amazing idea. For however long you’re in the air you are the only two people who know about your engagement and you physically can’t tell anyone else.
